This beauty is mid-20th century Hong Kong and you can see the clarity of the gemstones. This specimen is 41 grams and 20" long with silk knotting. It is Hetian Nephrite jade, a special kind of jade of which, all known deposits have been mined. What was once so common has become rare. Is it pre-war or post? I think that is hard to tell. Based off the oxidation of the clasp, it is possibly pre-war, but that requires greater expertise than we possess.
