Incredible original Punisher series, before he became a cliche. The man who became a criminal in order to destroy criminals. This anti-hero archetype has become boring, because the idea of a man who takes revenge for the rest of us is too much wish-fulfillment for anyone to consider what it would actually take. A guy who is willing to kill, stay in a nihilistic revenge-mode--not a cop, not a criminal, not someone with a weird political agenda--this character is easily hijacked as a symbol. But Frank Castle's war with himself is the most interesting part of the character. The goons are merely secondary.
There is damage on the edges of some of the comics. This is unfortunate, but reflected in the price.
